This is the blog of the laboratory of Human Paleoneurobiology directed by Emiliano Bruner at the National Research Center for Human Evolution, Spain. Students involved in Master and Doctoral theses will post here comments and news on topics related with brain and skull anatomy and evolution. Posts will be on anthropology, evolution, neuroscience, palentology, medicine, histology, morphology, comparative anatomy, primatology, functional craniology, neurobiology. Methods in computed morphometrics and digital anatomy will be also presented and discussed, as well as notes on meetings or web resources. This blog is a space to share information on the evolution of brain and braincase, from bones to neurons, in modern humans as well as in fossil species and non-human primates. Comments and questions are, as always, definitely welcome.
